This 14-week live online program is ideal for wellness professionals, rest teachers, coaches, therapists, and any woman who feels called to share the message of rest.

Led by Daring to Rest founder, Karen Brody, you’ll learn to teach The Rested Path™ framework in workshops, programs, retreats, and with individual clients. As a certified facilitator, you’ll receive teaching scripts, lesson plans, and the licensing right to use The Rested Path™ name and intellectual property in your work.

The Rested Path™ is the 3-part framework we teach you inside the Daring to Rest Coach Training. In 14-weeks, you’ll learn how to help people:

  • Cultivate a Rested Body

  • Discover their Rested Voice

  • Take Rested Action

The Rested Path is not just about helping people get the physical rest they need. It’s an embodied framework to help people explore how to step into a new rested story in their life. This framework does not throw facts about rest at people - studies show that alarming statistics mostly do not impact lifestyle change - but rather we invite people to claim their rested power. Because while we know creating a rested life is impacted by outside forces, ultimately becoming rested is an inside job.

When you certify, you will be licensed to share The Rested Path framework. Some Daring to Rest Coaches use the full framework in their work, while others weave pieces of it into their existing offerings with attribution.

Hi, I’m Karen

Founder of Daring to Rest, author of the Sounds True book Daring to Rest: Reclaim Your Power with Yoga Nidra Meditation, and your guide throughout this program.

I’ve devoted my life to helping women reclaim rest as a path to power.

Since 2008 - long before rest was trending - I’ve supported thousands of women to awaken from burnout and live more fully in their bodies, their truth, and their purpose. I’ve trained over 500 women worldwide to become rest leaders through the deep rest practice of yoga nidra and now rest coaching.

When I started this work, rest was often met with eye rolls or laughter. But today, the world is waking up. More and more people are sensing that the pace of our culture is unsustainable. That hustle is a path to burnout. That something has to change - and rest is the remedy and the beginning.

When I published Daring to Rest, my focus was on the power of yoga nidra to restore women’s energy and help them rise. But over time, women kept asked me after a deep rest experience, “What now?” I realized something essential: women need more than a rest practice - they also need guidance to live a rested life. They need a pathway - and they need guides.

So I returned to a framework I had once taught to new mothers and birth professionals - a three-part journey to connect with your body, reclaim your voice, and take aligned action. When layered with rest, this became The Rested Path™ - Rested Body, Rested Voice, Rested Action - a powerful map not only for healing, but for leading people to their most rested selves.

That’s why I created the Daring to Rest Coach Program: To support women like you to walk The Rested Path for yourself - and then learn to guide others with courage, clarity, and heart.

  • There will be 14 live calls on Zoom Tuesdays, 10am-1pm MT

    September: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30

    Recordings for all the live calls are available. If you cannot attend live, you can listen later.

  • While everyone learns differently, the average time you can expect to give per week is 5-7 hours. This includes the weekly live session and rest time.

  • Live attendance is not required. We have trained many women who, due to their schedule, cannot attend live. Every session is recorded and available within 24 hours. (And often earlier). While live attendance definitely enhances your experience, we know life (and time zones) happens. If you are joining live, classes will be weekly at 10am MT on Tuesdays for 3 hours.

  • Yes - as long as you provide attribution and follow the guidelines provided when you certify. Many of our Daring to Rest Coaches customize the framework and use parts of The Rested Path - not the entire framework.

  • You will not learn how to teach yoga nidra in the Daring to Rest Coach Training Program.

    The Daring to Rest Coach Training Program includes learning how to teach several physical relaxation practices, the focus is primarily on teaching you The Rested Path framework with dozens of tools to help people sculpt a rested life - physical, mental, emotional, ancestral, etc.

    We believe a yoga nidra teacher training needs to be a training on it’s own because yoga nidra is a practice that needs to be embodied before teaching it - and this happens over time. (We train women how to teach yoga nidra in a 5-month Daring to Rest Yoga Nidra Facilitator Training).

  • You’ll have access to the course site for one year.

  • You will have the opportunity to become a certified Daring to Rest Coach upon completion of the program - for no extra fee. Certified Daring to Rest Coaches receive the legal license to teach, speak and coach using The Rested Path framework.

    The following are the requirements to be certified:

    • Attend live or watch the recordings of all live sessions.

    • Listen to (or read the transcript) for all teaching audios.

    • Complete reflection questions from each lesson.

    • Teach: three short Rested Path experiences (for example, three coaching sessions or group classes using Rested Body, Rested Voice & Rested Action) OR teach a 3-day (or longer) Rested Path program. You must teach all three parts of the Rested Path. Submit a one page reflection on each experience

  • In many countries this training is a tax deduction for your business under professional development.
