Inside Rested Woman we support you to work with your wisdom mind through deep rest, slowing down, stillness, contemplation, and holding paradox. In these zero stress point states of consciousness we remember our wise, wild & free self…we become more compassionate towards others and ourself…and we stop abandoning our intuition, yearnings, and heart desires.
When we rest consistently, there’s the potential to change our relationship to time - to stop rushing every minute. We begin to trust our wisdom and lead with our heart.
The cycle of burnout loses it’s fuel when we rest - stillness, deep rest, and quiet calms the fire.

If you're new here, I'm a rest coach, trainer of rest leaders, writer, podcast host, and mother of two boys raised on rest—which feels like a small miracle considering I grew up in an unrested household. I’ve been facilitating women’s groups for decades, guiding women back to themselves through deep rest. So it may not surprise you that I wrote a book on deep rest for women: Daring to Rest: Reclaim Your Power with Yoga Nidra Rest Meditation.
You are most likely here because you don’t want to live in a cycle of fatigue forever. You know too well the obstacles to becoming rested - no time, constant stress, a world that feels like it’s always on the brink - but something in you wonders if stillness and deep rest might help you feel more anchored, calm, and grounded in these times.
I’ll be honest: I have had so many burnouts I lost count. I’ve experienced severe panic attacks where I could not leave my home. I know what it feels like to be worn down and chronically overwhelmed. The only reason I began resting is because my body broke down - it simply could not keep repeating that cycle.
Rested Woman is the community I wished I had when I was exhausted, burned out, and trying to find my way back to myself. It’s what grew out of the moment when rest stopped being just a practice and became a way of living.
I am on this journey with you. Becoming a Rested Woman is lifelong. And yes - becoming rested can be fun. Along with deep stillness and restoration, I always infuse the Rested Woman community with warmth, a sense of rest sisterhood, and joy.
I’m especially excited to rest this year with you - the Year of the Fire Horse. I’m a Fire Horse baby myself, born in 1966, during the previous Year of the Fire Horse sixty years ago. I know that galloping energy well. And over the course of my life, I’ve learned just how essential it is to welcome slow, soft energy alongside it.

Monthly New Moon Rest Circle is on the Friday closest to new moon at 10am MT.
This is a 90 minute circle plus 30 minutes of optional Rest Coaching after the circle.
If you have to miss a circle (or prefer to listen to the recordings instead of joining live) no worries. Rested Woman is your experience. Many women only listen to the recordings - the Rested Woman energy is still there! The live circles are not mandatory. You can always email Karen questions or connect with other Rest Sisters via our community forum online.
After you join you are on our Island of Rested Women :)
You’ll have immediate access to our Rest Library where you can start resting with yoga nidra or a short rest practice. We will also provide you with clear next steps for attending our live circles. On the first of each month you’ll receive an email from Karen with the monthly Rested Woman schedule.
Rested Woman works like most online memberships. You have access to the materials while you are a member. When your membership ends, your access ends. You cannot download materials for offline access, so you’ll need an internet connection to access materials.
Rested Woman is a monthly membership. You can cancel anytime. Once you cancel, the following billing period you will not be charged.
If you are joining the Working Soft Circle we highly recommend you commit to 9 months and then decide if it’s a good fit. Spend the Year of the Fire Horse with us - working soft takes time.
But again ultimately, if the membership does not feel right, you can cancel anytime. We want you to feel you’re in the right space to become rested.
Yes! We have a few sliding scale spots for women who are feeling called to be a part of Rested Woman but are unable to afford to pay full price at this time.

Yoga nidra is the most supreme rest we know. Deeply restorative, all you do is lie (or sit) down, listen to a voice guiding you, and do nothing.
It has been said that 30 minutes of yoga nidra feels like 3 hours of sleep in your body!
Inside Rested Woman, Karen guides you into yoga nidra each month on the full moon. Plus, there are many unique Daring to Rest yoga nidras you can listen to anytime in our online Rest Library.
